With the classic board and dice rolling action, choose this game if you want your digital experience to mirror what everyone loves about Trivial Pursuit in the first place in this Trivial Pursuit online app.
This is a catchall heading for the various niche and geek editions of the game that has a physical presence in terms of a board game but no online trivia version. There are plenty of Disney quizzes and trivia sites out there, just none under the Trivial Pursuit banner at this time. This might have something to do with the licensing issues that can crop up when creating games in different spaces and media formats. This is a subscription-based service with thousands of games to choose from across all genres, with Trivial Pursuit being one of them.
The game features three modes — one of them being a local multiplayer — and has over 2, questions localized to the country that the player is playing in. The Solitaire mode is about as close as you can get to the board game version of Trivial Pursuit in the digital space from a licensed game, though one major difference to account for the limitations of a PC is that every question is multiple choice.
Trivial Pursuit is an established brand and as a result, it is fair to expect that it would have a robust presence in the digital market. This, however, is simply not the case.
There is basically nothing available for those looking to play on the PC with the feel of an actual game of Trivial Pursuit, while there is nothing at all available on phones or tablets. There are many trivia apps out there and it seems like — for now at least — Hasbro Games are content to leave the digital space for other developers while concentrating on their core brand of board games to be played physically and in person.

The games graphics are nothing to write home about; as is typical of the trivia genre.
There was one major graphical decision that I found particularly annoying as I was playing though. Before each round, the view of the contestants is shown from slightly further away and is intentionally blurry.
Your view clears up as it zooms in, but the effect made it seem like there was a problem with the TV rather than that you were just naturally getting a clearer view the closer you got. It only lasts a couple of seconds but it is long enough to be noticeable. Ultimately, That Trivia Game succeeds in providing a fun time for you and up to three of your friends at an affordable price. Anytime a game can bring family members together for a good old-fashioned battle of the minds, that is a worthwhile endeavor.
